For this project, I created a ballet-themed website that serves as the foundation for my final multimedia project. The site includes multiple pages with images, navigation links, contact information, and a consistent design that is easy to use and visually organized.
I designed the website to be a learning resource for ballet students of all ages. As the course continues, I will add videos, photos, audio, and educational content to create an engaging and accessible ballet website.

Ballet Battement Tendu
To learn how to do a battement tendu follow the steps in the above images. You can also read the following, as you read do the movement. Slide your foot along the floor from the 5th position until fully stretched in an open position (2nd or 4th). Then slide it back to the original position. The order of 4th (5th) 2nd (5th) 4th is known as en croix. If your foot remains in the open position it is known as a dé gagé. The movement can also be started from ist or 3rd position.
Battement Glisse or Degage This movement is similar to a battement tendu, but it is done more sharply and your foot should leave the floor.
