I made a beautiful ballet lampshade by placing a ballerina sticker on the inside of the shade. When I turn on the lamp, the light helps show the ballet dancer through the lampshade. This is a simple and creative way to add a touch of ballet to a room.
Materials
- Plain lampshade
- Ballet dancer sticker
- Lamp base
- Compatible LED light bulb

- Choose your lampshade. A light-colored shade works well because the dancer may be visible through it when the lamp is on.
- Place the sticker inside. Carefully attach the ballerina sticker to the inside surface of the shade.
- Smooth the sticker. Press out any air bubbles so the design lies flat.
- Turn on the lamp. See how the ballerina looks through the outside of the shade.
Important: Use a sticker and shade suitable for lighting applications. Keep the sticker away from the bulb and follow the lamp’s heat-clearance requirements. An LED bulb can help reduce heat.
