Ballet Battement Frappe

Ballet Battement Frappe

Frappé means “strike.” This is an exercise to strengthen your leg and foot. Relax your foot on the ankle in front, then strike the floor with the ball of your foot and finish in 2nd position. Keeping your thigh still, bend the knee and bring your foot to the ankle behind. Repeat the exercise, returning your foot to the original position.
