Ballet Battement Fondu
This ballet exercise helps you to achieve a soft and cushion-like landing, as if on a trampoline. Stand with your foot in a dégagé 2nd and raise it to 45°. Smoothly bring your foot under the supporting knee, which should bend at the same time. Gradually straighten, opening your working leg to 4th or 2nd with a feeling of resistance.
